Attachment Style Quiz

Find out how you bond in close relationships, in about three minutes.

Your attachment style is the pattern you fall into when you get close to someone. This short quiz maps two things psychologists measure: how much you worry about the connection, and how much you pull back from it. Together they point to your style: secure, anxious, avoidant, or fearful. It is a mirror for reflection.

What your Attachment result means

Secure
You tend to feel safe getting close and safe being apart. You can trust, ask for what you need, and give others room to breathe.
Anxious
You love deeply and you feel the wobble when a connection goes quiet. Reassurance matters to you, and so does knowing where you stand.
Avoidant
You value your independence and handle a lot on your own. Closeness is welcome, but too much of it can start to feel like pressure.
Fearful
You want closeness and you brace for it at the same time. Part of you reaches out while another part keeps a hand on the door.

This is a reflection tool, not a clinical assessment, and no result here is a diagnosis.

Based on attachment theory and the anxiety and avoidance dimensions researchers use. For reflection and curiosity.
