MyFreud Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use carefully before accessing or using MyFreud. These Terms govern your use of the MyFreud mobile application, website, AI-powered wellbeing features, journaling tools, CBT sessions, subscriptions, and related services. By using MyFreud, You agree to these Terms.
1. Interpretation and Definitions
1.1 Interpretation
Capitalised terms have the meanings provided in these Terms. Definitions apply whether singular or plural.
1.2 Definitions
Affiliate means any entity controlling, controlled by, or under common control with the Company.
Application means the mobile application titled MyFreud.
Company, We, Us, Our means:

Device means any device capable of accessing the Service.
Service means collectively the MyFreud:
- Application
- website
- AI-powered features

- associated services
User Content means text, journal entries, voice inputs, responses, preferences, uploads, metadata, and other content submitted by You.
Website means myfreud.com and associated subdomains.
You means the individual using the Service.
2. Agreement to Terms
Access to and use of the Service is conditional upon acceptance of:
- these Terms;
- the Privacy Policy.
By using MyFreud You confirm You:
- read these Terms;
- understood these Terms;
- agree to these Terms.
If You disagree, discontinue use.
3. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You represent that You are at least 13 years old.
If You are between 13 and 17 years old, use of MyFreud should occur with parental or guardian involvement where required by law. If local law requires a higher age threshold, that requirement applies.
4. Mental Wellbeing and Safety Disclaimer
MyFreud provides:
- AI-assisted features;
- journaling;
- onboarding;
- self-reflection;
- CBT sessions;
- mood tracking.
MyFreud:
- is not medical advice;
- is not psychiatric advice;
- is not psychotherapy;
- is not counselling;
- is not crisis support;
- is not emergency care.
The Service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychiatric condition.
Outputs generated by AI may:
- contain inaccuracies;
- be incomplete;
- be unsuitable for Your circumstances.
You should seek professional advice from licensed healthcare professionals where appropriate.
Emergency situations
If You believe You may harm Yourself, harm another person, or require emergency assistance, contact emergency services immediately.
United Kingdom:
5. User Content and Licence
You retain ownership of User Content.
By submitting User Content You grant MEDRIX LTD a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, display, analyse, transmit, improve, and personalise the Service. This licence exists solely for the operation and improvement of MyFreud.
Personally identifiable journal entries and conversations are not used to train public AI models unless explicit consent is obtained.
You confirm You have rights to content You upload.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- violate laws;
- misuse the Service;
- impersonate others;
- upload unlawful content;
- upload content without consent;
- interfere with Service operation;
- reverse engineer the Service;
- perform competitive analysis;
- circumvent security;
- exploit vulnerabilities;
- generate harmful content.
You agree not to use MyFreud as a replacement for professional care.
7. Subscription, Billing, and In-App Purchases
Subscriptions may be purchased through:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by those platforms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Cancellation must occur according to platform rules.
The Company does not control:
- card processing;
- billing decisions;
- refund approvals.
8. Free Trials
Where offered:
- free trials convert into paid subscriptions unless cancelled;
- eligibility rules may apply;
- trial availability may change.
9. Third-Party Services
MyFreud may integrate with:
- sign-in providers;
- analytics providers;
- AI providers;
- hosting providers;
- app stores;
- customer support providers.
We are not responsible for third-party services except where required by law.
10. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Service, excluding User Content, belong to MEDRIX LTD.
You may not:
- copy;
- sell;
- distribute;
- reverse engineer;
- modify;
- create derivative works
without written permission.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where:
- Terms are violated;
- unlawful use occurs;
- security risks arise;
- misuse occurs.
Upon termination:
- access ends immediately;
- licences granted to You terminate.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MEDRIX LTD disclaims warranties including:
- merchantability;
- fitness for purpose;
- availability;
- reliability;
- accuracy;
- non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability shall not exceed the greater of:
- amounts paid by You during the previous 12 months; or
- USD $100 equivalent.
MEDRIX LTD is not liable for:
- indirect loss;
- lost profits;
- emotional distress;
- lost data;
- consequential damages.
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights You may have under applicable:
- United Kingdom consumer protection laws;
- mandatory consumer laws in Your country.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of England and Wales unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
16. Dispute Resolution
Before formal legal proceedings, You agree to contact Us and attempt good-faith resolution.

18. Severability
If any provision becomes invalid, the remaining provisions continue.
19. Waiver
Failure to enforce rights does not waive future enforcement.

We may modify these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through:
- app notice;
- website notice;
- email.
Continued use means acceptance.
